Is there a place you have visited, or a place in your Congressional district, that is particularly meaningful to you because of its history or cultural significance? Can you describe the place and what makes it special to you?

  • The State Capitol on the hill facing a mountain to be re-named or definitively find a challenge from Sisty. This unknown and recently celebrated founder of City of Denver and first Police department, and Legislative founder of State Constitution 1865 First responder for citizens, animals and environmental policy. Wilson E. Sisty is the noble man of the Earth and introduced to You by way of YouTube. This golden dome has been tarnished and this new pioneer who stood up for us all and still feeding us today from the food fish he stocked in our rivers and lakes. Admonishing those who propagate against the Native Indians, he has done more than any other for the quality of life since the arrival in 1859. His organizational skills has assisted the foundation for tourism and hospitality, Department of Wildlife among all the museums established in the 1860s, Sisty served on boards including Agriculture and Mining etc. Fiorino for Congress and in Ads since 2006 Sisty accompanied the Unity Candidate in bringing the heritage, history and saving places, like Brookvale and Leadville Opera House, the latter currently with a Colorado Arts Consortium $10 million grant proposal.
  • The new Colorado history will get pushback,; Yet inevitable to come to the forefront for four more years of politics or whenever Term Limits come to Congress. Cleanup of the Capitol building is something I hope to not see, again; yet they want action from this place and the placeholders need to find better solutions. Addressing your past will spring us forward and a new mount SISTY, a name who would, could heal our Great State and Capitol, with a unifier such as Wilson E. Sisty and historian Paul Noel Fiorino, appearing on your Ballot.

Do you think that heritage tourism (visiting cultural, historic, and natural resource areas) is a critically important economic engine for our nation?

  • Other (please specify): Yes, We need people who know our history in Colorado politics. Since 1955, I came to Denver by way of Temple Hoyne Buell bringing my Dad into his architectural firm. My years now, collecting SS/MC , I have seen the changes and fought for some, saved some and continue to do so, even when it looks bleak. The Denver Civic Theater was a real turning point and so was the Tabor Opera House for the community and the City at-large. The town of Brookvale is in the process, with its rich and most important place and person in Colorado history. The economic engine of DCTV.TV will be to share the truth with you and the world that history is important and must be corrected for truth, to be able to move forward.

Do you support National Park Service competitive grant programs, like Save America’s Treasures and the Civil Rights Grants program, which are designed to help communities highlight places where American history was made?

  • Yes

The National Historic Preservation Act and the National Environmental Policy Act guarantee the public an opportunity to comment on proposals for federal undertakings, like major highway improvements, or federal building construction. Do you oppose efforts to weaken or reduce the requirement to solicit feedback from the public?

  • Other (please specify): Colorado has demonstrated through the petition process that for as many signatures gathered, still the political will, will prevail. Public opinion/polls have never covered campaign. Yes speak your truth. More engagement. VOTE. Thanks for your VOTO.

Do you believe that climate change considerations should continue to be part of the federal permitting process?

  • Yes

Do you support the Trump Administration’s current efforts to reduce the number of federal projects that require a review under the National Environmental Policy Act?

  • No

Do you believe that government-to-government consultation with federally-recognized tribes is vital when evaluating plans that could impact historic, cultural, and religious properties?

  • Yes

The Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) is not funded through tax revenue; it receives money from federal oil and gas proceeds. Although the HPF is authorized to get $150 million per year, it has never received the full amount. Do you support full funding of the HPF?

  • Other (please specify): I will get you your money, but I need to be elected.

Organizations like the National Endowment for the Humanities, the National Science Foundation, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services, are critical to understanding and preserving America’s historic resources. Do you support robust funding for these groups?

  • Other (please specify): I run for the Endowments. Always have and its a nonpartisan issue. They are OUR Endowments. No Executive Orders will abolish them as long as you stand with me in first position, as Colorado leads in Arts participation and engagement in the Nation. See Sciencedebate.org. I have built the Golden Triangle Museum District home to the State Capitol.

Would you be interested in joining the bipartisan Historic Preservation Caucus?

  • Yes

Have you had the opportunity to assist any historic preservation efforts in your community?

  • I have mentioned the Theater’s but the latest was for the Education facilities of the Historic Loretto Heights. I fought the 5 Metro-districts in Council, but the developers already contributed to their war chest. The Nuns lost. I still run for it as it is in CD1. See Triathlon Dance filmed on the campus and it has changed.
