Coalition Urges Congress to Reauthorize the Historic Preservation Fund

Together with a coalition of leading historic preservation groups, the Coalition for American Heritage is urging Congress to pass H.R. 3350, a bill to reauthorize the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF). The bill would raise the authorized funding level of the HPF from $150 to $250 million and extend the authorization period from seven to ten years.

This legislation is critical because the HPF authorization is set to expire at the end of this fiscal year, September 30, 2023. Read our letter of support here and ask your Member of Congress to cosponsor this vital legislation. Get tips for contacting your Representative on our Call to Action page.
